Vodafone Qatar records USD18.1m net loss in Q1


(MENAFN) Vodafone Qatar, a partner of Vodafone Group, posted a net loss of about USD18.1 million in the first quarter of the year, according to a corporate statement, Reuters reported.

The losses compare to the USD9.05 million losses recorded in the corresponding period last year. However, Beltone Financial expected that Vodafone Qatar will report a loss of about USD19.2 million for the quarter.

Vodafone Qatar, 23 percent owned by parent Vodafone and 22 percent by a Qatar government-linked fund, chose not to disclose any additional information regarding its businesses.
