Kuwait- Barrak Said To Be 'On The Run'

(MENAFN- Arab Times) Security agencies at dawn Wednesday raided the farm of Musallam Al-Barrak who fled a verdict handed down on him by a local court, Al Seyassah reports.

The court sentenced Al- Barrak to two years in prison with hard labor for insulting the Amir at a seminar branded by local media as 'Stop the Frivolity' and security systems are sparing no effort to arrest and deliver him to the Sentences Department to enforce the penalty.

Sources said 15 vehicles affiliated to the Ministry of Interior went into the farm in search of the suspect, but he is still at large.

Laborers at the farm denied seeing the suspect during interrogation by detectives.
