UAE- President's decree reconstitutes EIDA's board


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has issued federal decree No. 56 for 2015, pertaining to the reconstitution of the board of directors of the Emirates Identity Authority (EIDA), under the chairmanship of H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council.

H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior has been named member and deputy chairman of the board.

According to the decree, the board members are Saqr bin Ghobash Saeed Ghobash, Minister of Labour; Ahmed Mohammed Al Hemairi, Secretary General of the Presidential Affairs Ministry; Mohammed Ahmed Al Shihi, Under Secretary of the Ministry of Economy, and Major General Isa Saif Al Mazrouei from the GHQ of the armed forces, in addition to Major General Dr. Nasser Likhraibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Interior Minister's Office, Major General Awad Hadher Al Muhairi and Abdullah Saif Al Nuaimi.

The board shall serve for 3 renewable years and the decree shall be effective from the date of issuance and shall be published in the official gazette.
