Zubair meets top Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee official

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Khalid al Zubair chairman of the Oman Olympic Committee (OOC) received an invitation from the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee to attend the second GCC Games in Dammam Saudi Arabia from October 17-28.

The invitation was handed to Zubair by Prince Khalid bin Bandar al Saud senior representative of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee at the OOC's office on Tuesday in the presence of Taha al Kishry OOC secretary general.

During the meeting the officials discussed ways to boost bilateral sporting relations.

The visiting official also handed invitations to H E Sheikh Saad al Saadi the Minister of Sports Affairs Kishry and Sheikh Sultan al Hosni the Oman Handball Association chief and the chairman of the GCC's organising committee for handball.
