Exhibition on Islam begins in Korea


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) A two-week exhibition on 'Islam Message from Oman' began in Busan South Korea on Tuesday.

The exhibition which is being held in Busan Citizens Park opened under the patronage of the head of International Affairs in Busan Municipality in the presence of H E Mohammed bin Salim al Harthy Oman's Ambassador to South Korea.

H E Harthy said that Oman believes in spreading the message of peace and security across the world.

The head of the Arabic Language Department at Busan University said the exhibition will help Koreans to know about sultanate's efforts in spreading the message of tolerance understanding and coexistence.

Meanwhile the sultanate's delegation visited Busan University of Foreign Studies. During the visit the sultanate's delegation met the president of the university and touched on relations between the two sides. The sultanate's delegation also donated several books to the university's library.
