(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Al Meera Consumer Goods Company has launched various promotional offers and reduced prices for 1,000 consumer products as part of its Ramadan campaign, deputy CEO Dr Mohamed bin Nasser al-Qahtani said.

He said the campaign, entitled "Because you deserve virtue during this virtuous month," will be available until Eid al-Fitr at all Al Meera branches.
"As of now, customers can shop for a wide selection of the most sought-after items during this holy month, including 740 store promotions, and many more socially-responsible activities that will be announced soon. In addition, Al Meera will work with the Ministry of Economy and Commerce to sell the items at the price fixed by ministry," al-Qahtani said.
According to al-Qahtani, the promotion is part of Al Meera's efforts "to remain socially-responsible" towards the Qatari community during Ramadan by providing food requirements at the lowest possible prices, while providing a "convenient shopping experience."
"To facilitate hassle-free shopping during the promotional season and make shopping experience as enjoyable and convenient as possible, Al Meera carefully planned the placement of all products according to category, with special stands for Ramadan items such as dates and Qatari special recipes," he said.
Al-Qahtani added that Al Meera has recently opened its newest branches in Muraikh and Thakhira as part of the company's expansion strategy to serve all areas in Qatar.
"Through its expansion plan, Al Meera continues to reflect its slogan 'Your favourite neighbourhood retailer'. The new shopping centres are constructed according to international standards to provide a convenient shopping experience for the Qatari community.
