(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Oman will soon feature in popular Arabic TV programme Khawatir this Ramadan. Hosted by the popular Ahmad al Shugairi the programme will mainly focus on Omani honey.

Shooting for the programme was completed in one and a half days according to an official from the Ministry of Information and the show is scheduled to be broadcast during 'late Ramadan'.

During the filming of the programme Shugairi met Oman's Grand Mufti H E Sheikh Ahmed al Khalili as well as other dignitaries and offered them dates a sign of Omani hospitality. Shugairi has a large fan base in the region.

In 2011 Arabian Business ranked him 143rd in the list of 500 most influential Arabs. Khawatir which began in 2004 is broadcast on Arabic channel MBC everyday during Ramadan. It offers advice on aspects of life and touches upon topics like religion society and culture.
