(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Lower House Speaker, Atef Tarawneh, took part in the 3rd Preparatory Committee meeting of Speakers of Parliament currently convening in Geneva.
Tarawneh was briefed by the president of the Inter-Parliamentary Union and its Secretary General about the preparations for the conference, as well as the UN summit on sustainable development. The conferees approved the reports and recommendations that emerged from the previous meeting in order to implement the goals of sustainable development and challenges currently facing Parliaments.
