Jordan King patronizes air force graduation ceremony


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army, on Monday patronized the 44th Class of air-force cadets' graduation ceremony at the King Hussein Air College.

Mufti of the Armed Forces Yahia Bitoush, in his remarks, praised the graduates and highlighted their role in protecting the Kingdom.

Commander of the College, Brigadier General pilot Adham Mohammad Bilal, also delivered a speech in which he welcomed his Majesty the King and highlighted the college's role in preparing highly-qualified and proficient pilots.

The King presented awards and conferred pilot wings on graduates, including cadets from Bahrain.

King Abdullah and the audience also watched an air show by a Royal Air Force squadron.

Senior civic and military officials as well as military attaches to the Kingdom and families of graduates also attended the ceremony.
