Iraq's oil export revenue reaches USD5b in May


(MENAFN) Iraq's oil export accumulated a revenue of about USD5 billion in May, with an average pricing of USD55 per barrel, according to a statement issued by the Oil Ministry, Xinhua reported

Iraq exported oil at a rate of 3.145 million barrels per day (bpd) in May, totaling 97.504 million barrels by the end of the month, the Ministry added in the statement.

The ministry attributed the amount of export, "unprecedented for decades," to its "extraordinary efforts."
