Cabinet condemns attack on Saudi Dammam mosque


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The cabinet on Monday condemned the recent attempted attack that targeted a mosque in western Saudi city of Dammam on Friday.

During its routine meeting held at Seif Palace, the cabinet said that the "continuity of such criminal acts targets the security of the Kingdom and the Saudi people as a whole," Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah said.

Chaired by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the meeting reiterated Kuwait's firm stance, categorically rejecting all forms of terrorism, Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah added.

Last Friday, a suicide bomber detonated an explosive belt near the gate of Al-Anoud Mosque in western city of Dammam, killing himself and three others. Four more were injured.
