Kuwait- Visit Visa Violators Sponsors To Bear Cost Of Deportation

(MENAFN- Arab Times) The General Department for Residency Affairs has started inviting sponsors of expatriates who entered the country on commercial or family visas to know the latter's whereabouts as they have violated the Residency Law.

Sources disclosed the department registered 65 commercial visit visa violations, indicating the companies and sponsors will be required to shoulder the cost for deporting the concerned expatriates.

Sources said the holders of these visas were found to have not left the country even if their visas have expired.

Sources added administrative procedures will be taken against the sponsors while ministries and other concerned authorities will be contacted to suspend files and transactions of erring companies until their errors are rectified.

According to sources, the assistant undersecretary for Citizenship and Passports Affairs issued directives on the need to take legal actions against the sponsors. Sources revealed surprise inspection campaigns will continue in all governorates to track down all those who violated the laws.
