Three Militants Killed in Clashes with Indian Army in Kashmir


(MENAFN- QNA) At least three militants and one civilian were killed after a group of insurgents tried to storm an Indian military camp near the de facto border between India and Pakistan in Kashmir, officials and reports said Monday.

The clash occurred in the border town of Tangdhar, near the Line of Control that divides administration of the disputed region.

Three militants were killed by the end of 16-hour long battle early Monday, senior police officer Gareeb Das was quoted by the dpa as saying A civilian also died in the crossfie, local media reported
