(MENAFN) SIDDCO Group and Abu Dhabi Ports signed a USD35.4 million contract to build an engineering unit at Khalifa Port's industrial zone (Kizad), Gulf News reported.
The new engineering unit is dubbed "iNGENIUM" and will provide precise automatic engineering and manufacturing for the domestic energy sector, according to a corporate statement issued by Abu Dhabi Ports.
"The new facility will cater to the oil and gas industry's growth and create business opportunities and jobs in the emirate, directly supporting the diversification of our nation's economy." The Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi Ports said.
