UAE, Mauritania to solidify economic ties


(MENAFN) The United Arab Emirates and Mauritania are set to bolster their reciprocal economic relations after a meeting between the Emirati Minister of Economy and the Ambassador of Mauritania, Gulf News reported.

The meeting was held to find out means for facilitating and enhancing trade exchange between the two countries. In 2013, the two-way trade between the two countries was estimated at USD79.24 million.

The Minister noted the need for the Mauritanian government to promote investment opportunities in Mauritania through an intensification of visits and participation in UAE exhibitions.
