(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, on Sunday reaffirmed the Kingdom's unyielding stance against terrorism.
Referring to recent "terrorist attacks" in the Kingdom, the Crown Prince said the country is "strongly countering terrorism", and that "such incidents will not affect the Kingdom," stressing that many terrorist operations were foiled, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The Crown Prince made the statement today during a meeting with ambassadors of "a number of brotherly and friendly countries accredited to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia." Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz attended.
During the meeting, Dean of Diplomatic Corps Djibouti's Ambassador Ziauddin Saeed Bamukhrama expressed the ambassadors' condemnation of the terrorist incidents that targeted mosques in Qudayh and Dammam over the past days.
Last Friday, a suicide bomber detonated an explosive belt near the gate of Al-Anoud Mosque in western city of Dammam, killing himself and three others. Four more were injured.
A week earlier, also a mosque attack in Qudayh village of Al-Qatif city, east of the Kingdom, killed 21 people and wounded nearly 88 people.
