English Football Association official expects quick Blatter ouster

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Chairman of the English Football Association, Greg Dyke, said on Saturday night that Sepp Blatter, who retained his position as FIFA president in Friday's election despite being at the helm during one of the largest corruption scandals to rock the world of football, will be forced to resign and not complete his term.

"I think there is an awful lot more of this to play out. The idea that Blatter could reform FIFA is suspect. I'd be very surprised if he was still in this job in two years' time," Dyke said.

He voiced belief that FIFA will not convene an urgent meeting, due to the latest corruption cases plaguing the association.
