JHCO secretary general, Yemeni information minister discuss aid to Yemen
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Yemen's needs for urgent humanitarian aid was discussed on Sunday during a meeting between Secretary General of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) Ayman Mifleh and Yemen's minister of information Nadia Sakkaf.
Also participating in the meeting was the Cultural Attache at the Yemeni Embassy in Amman, Abdul Karim Al Warathi.
Mifleh stressed the readiness of the JHCO to provide aid to Yemenis, noting that the organization, under the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, sent a Jordan Armed Forces plane laden with 30 tonnes of food and medical supplies.
Mifleh also stressed the need for creating a mechanism to ensure the delivery of aid though the Yemeni Higher Relief Committee, and based upon royal directives.
