Kuwait- FBC First HPI Championship Cup Enters Second Week
(MENAFN- Arab Times) The KALAYAAN Tournament dubbed "First HPI Championship Cup" organised by the Filipino Badminton Committee in Kuwait entered its second week on Friday at the Kuwait Disabled Sports Club in Hawally.
The day saw power-packed action among the participating badminton players who showed off their agility and endurance as shuttle cocks swooshed from one court to the other.
New players have shown great play during the second week of the tournament as they tried to outdo one another capitalising on their stamina, strategy and agility.
The tournament which is divided into morning and afternoon games is being managed by Tournament Managers Engr Louie Lagada, Vincent Diculin and Ariel Abellar under the supervision of OIC President Emman Carpio .
Meanwhile the awarding ceremony for the the 54th and 55th tournaments will be held on June 5 at Kuwait Disabled Sports Club at 12:30 noon, announced FBC Chairman Dr Chie Umandap. He thanked PAGIBIG Fund and HPI Direct Sales for supporting the FBC tournaments.
The FBC Technical Committee is inviting all the badminton enthusiaste to join in the badminton tournament. They can register online on www.fbckpi.com or visit the Kuwait Disabled Sports Club every Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
