(MENAFN) Etihad Airways is set to contribute in a total of USD6.2 billion, added to the economy of the United States over the five upcoming years, a corporate statement said, Gulf Times reported.
This year alone, the airliner will grant the US economy a total of about 23,400 employment opportunities, in addition to a sum of USD2.9 billion, a research by Oxford Economics showed.
Both the figures will nearly double by 2020 as Etihad increases operating expenditure and capital investment.
