Libya Releases 30 Tunisian Detainees
(MENAFN- QNA) Tunisian Foreign Minister Taieb Baccouche Thursday announced here the release of 30 Tunisian illegal migrants detained by Libya.
The minister made the announcement after his meeting with UNHCR Director for Middle East and North Africa Operations Amin Awad who is currently visiting Tunisia for talks with parties involved in detaining the illegal migrants.
The ministry is trying its best to secure the unconditional release of other Tunisian detainees at the earliest, said Baccouche.
Awad said he discussed with Tunisian Foreign Minister the fate of illegal migrants caught travelling by boats in seas.
