The sun was shining the grill was sizzling and the Saints spring sports teams were in action on May 9th during Springfest at Sacred Heart School (www.sacredheartkingston.com) a private Catholic co-educational school for students in preschool through grade 12
The fun-filled day saw parents and students lined up at the dunk tank to get teachers and administrators wet; face painting and henna tattoo stations drew great attention; a student art show wowed the crowds; and academic and athletic open houses rounded out the day’s activities. Refreshments and music were also enjoyed by all who attended.
The Saints High School sports teams were in action throughout the day with Boys Lacrosse coming away with a big win and Girls Lacrosse pulling off a tie. Varsity Softball bested Coyle Cassidy the Girls Track team recorded a win and Boy’s Tennis earned a victory as well.
“What a fantastic day all-around” said Pamela Desmarais President of Sacred heart. “Springfest is a wonderful celebration of our school and a great opportunity for Sacred Heart and the local community to come together to have some fun and support our spring teams!”
