British Paypoint financial results show strong performance


(MENAFN) British business Paypoint announced its financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2015, showing increases in revenue and operating profits compared to a year earlier, 4-traders reported.

The company's revenue surged 3 percent in the period, totaling USD335.90 million and up from USD326.22 on-year, while net revenue rose 8.3 percent to USD189.24 million from USD174.79 million.

Operating profit also showed an increase of 9.1 percent to reach USD76.09 million, up from USD69.79 million, with profits before tax also surging by 7.7 percent to hit USD76.25 million.

Retail networks performed well, with net revenue up 10.1 percent, including retail services up 19.9 percent, while mobile and Online3 transactions increasing 10.0 percent to 145.3 million.
