Trading at Kuwait bourse diverse for 2nd day


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Trading at the Kuwaiti bourse,
one of the main regional stock markets, was mixed in early trades on Thursday, the week's closing session.

The divergent performance persisted for the second day in a row early today, with the Benchmark of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) dropping 2.4 points to level of 6,330, while the weighted index firming at 420.2 and Kuwait-15 index inching 0.5 upward.

Value of traded shares reached approximately KD 608,000, volume turnover some 6.5 million, done in 240 deals.

The KSE closed Wednesday's trading in an identical manner, with the weighted index losing 0.45 points reaching 420.27, while the price index gaining 23.28 points reaching 6,332.92, whereas the KSX 15 going down by 0.03 points to stand at 1,008.3. Yesterday's number of trades was 5,338 with a value of KD 24,414,373.791 and a volume of 297,836,408 shares. Top gainers were (QURAINHLD), (AFAQ), (KCLINIC), (ACICO), (KPAK), while the top volume shares were (MAYADEEN), (ADNC), (MANAZEL), (IFA) and (INVESTORS).

KSE's capital value has been in the range of KD 28 billion.

USD latest trades showed the greenback standing at KD 0.302.
