Classic Construction Company Receives GAF's Prestigious President's Club Award

Classic Construction Company Inc. of Huntington West Virginia has received GAF's most prestigious contractor award: The GAF President's Club Award. This highly coveted award recognizes Classic Construction Company as one of the "elite of the elite" residential roofing contractors in the United States.
GAF is North America's largest roofing manufacturer and only GAF Master Elite(r) Contractors can compete for its President's Club Award. To qualify for this award a contractor must demonstrate an exceptional level of excellence in their business especially in the areas of Installation Excellence Consumer Protection and Installer Training.
Classic Construction Company has been a GAF Master Elite(r) Contractor since 2013. To become a Master Elite(r) Contractor--a status that less than 2% of roofing contractors nationwide have achieved--a candidate must demonstrate proper licensing and adequate insurance have a proven reputation and show commitment to ongoing professional training.
Classic Construction is the roofing company to which others are compared. "We're kind of the standard" states operations manager Chase Ward. "We do a lot of insurance restoration work. Whenever there's a large storm that damages roofs insurance companies critique other roofers' work quality by comparing it to ours."
Locally owned and operated Classic Construction has been in the Huntington area for more than 32 years. Begun by Ward's grandfather it has stayed a family company for three generations. "A lot of companies will say for example 'We have more than 30 years' experience'--but that's because everyone in the company has one or two years and they add up. Following that same formula for Classic we have hundreds of years of experience. Classic employs master craftsmen who have been with us for 20 or 25 years. They take pride in their work and it shows. They're a reflection of the company."
Classic looks forward to continued customer satisfaction in 2015. "If our customers are happy with everything we do it's a good year" says Ward. "We're the only one in the state of West Virginia to receive the President's Club Award and this is our second year receiving GAF's Triple Excellence Award. We plan to maintain that standard as we continue to expand into Kentucky and Ohio."
"We're an oddity" concludes Ward. "For most companies in this business it's inevitable that employees come and go. But ours are like members of a family.
