Las Vegas wants more holidaymakers from the UK to visit

Tourist chiefs in Las Vegas has increased its budget for marketing by 10% which means they are now spending over $90m for 2013 to try and convince more people to take their annual holiday in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas saw the number of holidaymakers visit the gambling capital of the world increase by 2% but unfortunately the amount of money visitors spent dropped by 20% according to Rossi Ralenkotter president and CEO of Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
By increasing the marketing budget tourist chiefs are hoping to get more UK visitors to Las Vegas especially now airlines have increased the number of flights to Las Vegas which includes Virgin Atlantic and British Airways.
It is hoped by increasing the marketing budget that they will be able to increase the number of visitors to Las Vegas and help increase the amount of money they spend.
