2 dead in separate accidents in north of Jordan


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) A man and a young girl died Tuesday in two separate accidents in the Kingdom's north, according to medical sources.

The man was killed in a collision involving several vehicles that took place at an intersection near the Industrial City in the northern city of Ramtha, according to Director of the city's government hospital, Dr. Yousef Tahat. He told Petra that three injured people were rushed for treatment to the main hospital and one was found dead on arrival.

In the other accident, a 12-year-old girl died of an electric shock in the town of Khaldieh near the city of Mafraq.

According to the Mafraq public hospital director, Smair Mashaqbeh, the child was dead on arrival at the emergency and accident ward and said the body was sent to forensic experts for further examination.
