Hot weather forecast today in Jordan


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) A rise in temperatures is expected on Wednesday becoming 6-8 degrees above their seasonal average. Therefore, hot conditions will prevail across the Kingdom with clouds at various altitudes and a chance for light rain at night.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), winds will be southwesterly moderate to brisk.

Temperatures will slightly drop on Thursday but they will remain above their degrees by 3-5 degrees and it will be dusty and relatively hot in the hilly areas and hot in the desert areas, the Jordan valley and Aqaba.

A further drop in temperatures is expected on Friday creating moderate conditions in most regions with westerly moderate to brisk winds.

Temperatures in Amman will range between a high of 37 degrees Celsius and a low of 24 degrees while in Aqaba temperatures will reach a high of 44 degrees dropping to 27 degrees at night.
