Kuwait FM meets Iraq counterpart

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah met on Tuesday with Iraq's Foreign Minister Ibrahim Al-Jaafari, on the occasion of his participation in meetings of the 42nd Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) session, due in Kuwait tomorrow.

The two sides discussed bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest, including the thriving bilateral cooperation in all areas.

The meeting also highlighted the two sides' satisfaction to the joint coordination between the two countries.

The meeting was attended by Foreign Undersecretary Khaled Al-Jarallah, Director of Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled's Office Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, Director of International Organizations Ambassador Jassem Al-Mubarki, Director of Protocols Dhari Al-Ajran, Director of the Undersecretary's Office Ayham Al-Omar, Kuwait's Ambassador to Iraq Ghassan Al-Zawawi, Deputy Director of Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled's Office Saleh Al-Loghani and other senior Foreign Ministry officials.

Iraq's Ambassador to Kuwait Mohammad Bahr Al-Uloom also attended the talks.
