#1. Why do you think fishing has become so popular? Fishing has always been popular it’s all about the anticipation of the hook up and fight Salmon are such a sport fish you tend to earn your catch.
#2. More women are now turning to fishing why do you think this is? Yes more and more woman are enjoying fishing and why not. I think the refinement of the equipment and better boat makes fishing more appealing to more both woman and men children as well.
#3 What is the difference in experience when fishing from a boat than fishing along a river? Differences between fishing on the ocean compared to a river bank fishing is fishing techniques are different in the ocean and you are constantly moving looking to find and attract the fish to bite while taking in the ever changing scenery. River fishing is basically hoping a fish passes your location. Ocean fishing is more relaxing and much more social.

#5. What type of experience can people expect when they book one of your fishing trips? Aboard Deep Respect they will experience a clean and well equipped boat a water side view of Vancouver like no other. At the end of the charter people are generally well versed with our local Salmon fishery and maybe even a few of those closely guarded secrets.
#6. If a group of people were not interested in fishing but wanted to see the sights could they hire your services?
Occasionally we have people aboard who are more interested in experiencing the sites and the boating experience This can be fun for us as well as we experience some of the local beauty and attractions that we have perhaps come to take for granted.
#7. What is the biggest fish someone has caught on one of your fishing trips?
The biggest fish a client has caught was two Chinook or King Salmon 30 minutes apart one 36 pounds and the other 36.5 pounds this day was exceptional many multiple catch day with fish in the teens 20’s and 30’s. Sockeye and pinks are the best for multiple catches and lots of action with up to 20 fish per day being common.
#8. A lot of people feel fishing charters can be expensive are they wrong? Fishing charters are really quite reasonably priced when you consider a man and a machine costs in every other sector. Many choose to collect a group of family or friends and divide the cost. Life nothing ventured nothing gained fishing charters is a memorable experience many come back time and time again.
#9. What is the maximum length of time someone can hire your services? We offer standard 5+ and 8+ hour charters but are open to tailoring your charter to fit your desires. Extra time no problem.
