(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, emphasised the importance of studying government excellence system and its public standards as well as implementing its national agenda within the UAE Vision 2021 via the activities and programmes of the ministry.
These remarks were made when Sheikh Nahyan presided over the first meeting of the Institutional Distinguish Working Teams, launched by the ministry, to prepare the ministry's file to participate in the Mohammed bin Rashid Government Excellence Award.
Among those who attended the meeting were Afra Al Sabri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development, and a number of the ministry's leaders.
Sheikh Nahyan underscored that excellence and success are aimed to provide cultural, social and youth services which meet the needs and aspirations of Emiratis.
He also said that this goal is in line with the objectives of the wise leadership in all fields, calling for the importance of achieving the necessary goals across all initiatives, programmes and events organised by the ministry.
Sheikh Nahyan noted that the ministry is one of those ministries that provide services to all segments of the society, thus it is a must to reach innovative ideas.
He also reiterated that excellence is an approach adopted by the UAE and a way to the top rank, a target that will be achieved by focusing on implementing the national agenda as well as making provisions for services in an innovative way.
