ASX continues rise but this zinc player climbed 16.2%

(MENAFN- ProactiveInvestors) Australian shares continued to gain with the major banks pulling the All Ords up 50.5 points or 0.9% to 5770.4.

ANZ Bank (ASX:ANZ) is up 1.0% to $32.64 while Commonwealth Bank (ASX:CBA) rose 0.8% to $84.60.

National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) climbed 1.2% to $33.94 and Westpac (ASX:WBC) is up 2.1% to $33.65

Ironbark Zinc (ASX:IBG) is up 16.2% to $0.115 with more than 2 million shares traded.

The company has now received notice from the Greenland Ministry of Industry Labour and Trade (MILT) that the Social Impact Assessment (SIA) regarding the Mining Licence Application for the project is in compliance with the minimum requirements.

The SIA is now ready for the Public Consultation stage of the Application process.

Citronen currently hosts in excess of 13.1 billion pounds of zinc and lead.

A completed Bankable Feasibility Study confirmed the world-class scale of the project which is located adjacent to deep protected water on the doorstep of Europe and North America.

Arc Exploration (ASX:ARX) jumped 50% to $0.003 while Thundelarra (ASX:THX) climbed 10% to $0.11.

St George Mining (ASX:SGQ) rose 12% to $0.084 and Regeneus (ASX:RGS) is up 12% to $0.14.
