British campaign before referendum on UK membership of EU


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) British Prime Minister David Cameron started a campaign to convince European partners on reforms he is seeking to the EU before holding a referendum by the end of 2017, on Britain's membership.

Cameron met with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker on Monday and discussed with him Britain's relations with the EU. He told the Commissioner that that "British people are not happy with the status quo" in Europe.

Cameron and Juncker stressed the need for more dialogue between Britain and European partners on this issues.
