Public works minister, Moroccan counterpart discuss joint cooperation


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Minister of Public Works and Housing Sami Halasa discussed with Moroccan Minister of Housing, Urbanism and Policy of the City Nabil Benabdallah issues pertaining to housing and housing policies.

The two ministers stressed the need to activate agreements and memoranda of understanding as well as the need for an exchange of expertise between the two countries.

Halasa, who is currently visiting Morocco at the head of an official delegation, was briefed on the Moroccan housing program for people with limited income in addition to the five-year strategy of the Moroccan government in this regard.

He said the Jordanian government is currently working with the World Bank to prepare a comprehensive strategy for the housing sector, noting that a law is being drafted for investors in this sector.
