Dubai to build Lego-themed hotel part of USD2.7b project

(MENAFN) The Emirate of Dubai is set to witness the construction of a Lego-themed hotel as a part of the USD2.7b project by Dubai Parks and Resorts, according to officials, Arabian Business reported.

The construction of the new hotel comes also in part for the expansion project taken for Legoland Dubai theme park in 2018, with the whole theme lying under the emirate's aspiration of building the Middle East's largest multi-themed entertainment park.

"As a part of our expansion strategy, we plan to have a Lego-themed hotel in the future, mostly in 2018. I can't divulge any details right now but it will be the first of its kind in the region." The Chief Projects Officer for Dubai Parks and Resorts said.
