Egyptian PM: Egypt will not forget UAE's support


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) Ibrahim Mahlab, Egyptian Prime Minister, has commended the UAE's stances in support of Egypt.

The Middle East News Agency, MENA, quoted Mahlab in a speech last night, during the opening of the "Industrial Commercial Dialogue between Egypt and Russia", as saying, "I will never forget the stances of our brothers in the United Arab Emirates who have supported Egypt."

He went on to say that the Industrial Commercial Dialogue is a great opportunity to create investment opportunities and encourage the private sector, explaining that the Egyptian Government is making every possible effort to eliminate bureaucracy and corruption.

He said that the dialogue, which is taking place in Sharm el-Sheikh, is presenting opportunities for all, stressing that Egypt is working to make quick transparent decisions to attract more investors, welcoming the presence of UAE and Russian companies in his country in order to establish effective partnerships and to seize opportunities in Egypt.

The event was attended by a number of ministers.

Yesterday, Mounir Fakhry Abd El Noor, Egyptian Minister of Trade, Industry, and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, announced the establishment of a new Investment Fund in Egypt with UAE-Russian cooperation, as a mechanism of financing investment projects in the indutrial and services fields.
