(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) US Vice President Joe Biden made a telephone call on Monday with Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi.
The White House said in a statement that Biden reaffirmed U.S. support for the Iraqi government€„¢s fight against ISIL (Da'esh) and the full commitment of the United States toward Iraq.
'The Vice President recognized the enormous sacrifice and bravery of Iraqi forces over the past eighteen months in Ramadi and elsewhere', the White House statement added.
