Bahrain forces arrest wanted "terrorist," seize explosives - MoI


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Bahrain Interior Ministry said Monday it arrested a person wanted for committing several crimes, and found explosives and guns in his possession which would be used for "terrorist acts."

The ministry, in a statement on its Twitter account, said security forces seized locally-made bombs, materials used to make bombs, a hunting rifle, bullets and other materials "used by terrorists in riots and sabotage." These materials were hidden in a warehouse in the southern area of Sitra, said the ministry, while the security forces confiscated medications in another building used as a field clinic in the same area.

The arrestee, whose name was not disclosed, confessed to the interrogators about the locations of these hideouts, it added.
