(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah, has emphasised the important role being played by the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) at the national level.
While receiving a delegation of the NCEMA, led by Dr. Jamal Mohammed Al Hosni, Director General of the authority, Sheikh Saud highlighted the efforts exerted by the authority which are aimed at enhancing the national work system in the field of emergency management through laying plans and strategies contributing towards harnessing all the potentials and capabilities and establishing working teams to address emergency cases as well as protect lives and properties.
He was also briefed on the objectives, projects, specialties and role being played by the authority in the field of coordinating efforts and laying plans for any emergency, crises and catastrophes.
The meeting also tackled the importance of adopting sustainable and continuous procedures in various vital departments in the emirate.
