Australia's Capital Metro rail project to get USD52m allocation


(MENAFN) The Australian Capital Metro's light railway scheme is ready to take up an allocation of about USD52 million in ACT budget, according to resources familiar with the project located in Canberra, ABC reported.

The allocation is predetermined to be invested over the upcoming four years, starting from the building of the first segment from Gungahlin to the city of Canberra.

"This funding will provide for the provision of specialized technical, program management, legal and commercial advisory services," the Capital Metro Minister said in a statement.
