Lebanese Justice Minister Hails Qatar's Support to Lebanon


(MENAFN- QNA) Lebanese Justice Minister Ashraf Rifi hailed the State of Qatar's support for his country at various levels.

In an interview with Qatar News Agency in Beirut, the Minister of Justice said that Lebanese economy will not rise without the support of the GCC countries, pointing to the existence of hundreds of thousands of Lebanese families and youth who are working in the Gulf and receiving good treatment.

He said that there is no strategic threat to the security situation in Lebanon, noting at the same time to the crisis in Lebanon at the political level in the light of the presidential vacancy since a year ago.

Lebanese Justice Minister stressed that Lebanon adhere to the Arab identity, refusing any intervention from regional countries in his country's decisions.

Regarding the Operation Decisive Storm launched by Arab states and led by Saudi Arabia against the Houthis, Rifi considered that the operation was an important step to suppress the criminality of Houthi's group against the Yemeni people. (MORE)
