Oman to invest USD6.47b on infrastructure

(MENAFN) The Sultanate of Oman allocated a total of about USD6.47 billion to expand and further develop the country's water infrastructure over the upcoming 25 years, Oman Daily Observer reported.

The project is especially dedicated for developing new systems to provide water to green-field areas, in addition to recovery plans and maintenance of broken-down distribution pipelines and infrastructure.

That strategy is enshrined in the National Water Sector Master Plan entailing a 25-year blueprint for expanding and reinforcing the country's water transmission, according to the Planning Manager of PAEW.
