Jordan supports Iraq as an inclusive state: PM


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour reiterated that Jordan, under the Hashemite leadership, supports the Iraqi state in countering terrorism which has hit the neighboring country.

In two separate meetings on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF), with the two Iraqi deputy Prime Ministers, Rowsch Nuri Shaways and Baha al-Araji, Ensour said the calamity Iraq is facing will vanish and thta country is going to win the war against terrorism.

Ensour said Jordan is supporting Iraq as an inclusive state, regardless the political regimes that govern there, stressing the Kingdom's clear stance towards backing Iraqis.

The two deputies briefed Ensour on the latest security developments, in particular in Anbar governorate.

The two sides discussed the bilateral ties and ways to further boost them in various aspects, with Ensour highlighting the credibility that the Iraqi government enjoys, in addition to its commitment to the agreements signed between the two countries, which will contribute towards cementing Jordan-Iraq ties.
