Arab chiefs of staff resume discussion on forming a joint force


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Arab chiefs of staff resumed discussion on forming an Arab joint force at their second meeting here today, presided over by Egypt's chief of staff Gen. Mahmoud Hijazi.
The meeting was attended by Arab League Secretary General Dr. Nabil Al-Arabi and other Arab chiefs of staff or their representatives.
Chief of General Staff of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Gen. Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al-Bunyan led his country's delegation to the meeting.
In an opening speech, the host chief of staff denounced the terrorist act in a Saudi Eastern Region's village mosque, killing dozens of innocent worshippers and injured many.
He conveyed condolence to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, his Crown Prince and Deputy Crown Prince, appealing to Allah Almighty to accept the victims.
He said such terrorist acts would only augment our determination to wipe out terrorism from our lands and guarantee comfortable life for our peoples.
