ISIL militants execute 11 civilians in Hasakah, Deir Ezzor


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) announced Wednesday that the number of people who were executed by the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) militants in the provinces of Deir Ezzor and al- asakah has risen to 11. In a press statement, the SOHR said that more than half of the slaughtered people were beheaded by sharp instruments, where SOHR documented execution of three men in the village of al- Kishkiyyi inhabited by the people of al- Shaitaat tribe in east of Deir Ezzor.

It reported that ISIL executed them for "recruiting people of Al-Shaitaat tribe in Tadmor camp". The information also confirmed to SOHR that the three men are from the town of Abo Hamam which is close to al-Kishkiyyi.

It also executed a man from the village of al-Jerzi in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor for "demonstrating against ISIL and inciting people in order to fight ISIL".

They also executed two other men; one in the village of al-Dahlah for "fighting ISIL" while the other in the village of Al-Sfiri Tahtani for "serving the regime forces".

SOHR also reported that ISIL executed three men near the municipality in the town of al- ShHil located in east of Deir Ezzor, which is considered the ex-stronghold of the Nusra Front in Syria.

The sources confirmed that ISIL militants slaughtered them by a sharp instrument. One of them executed for "being an ex-fighter and he did not declare his repentance while the second one for "fighting ISIL and cooperating with the awakening movements in Turkey".

In addition to, the sources confirmed that ISIL arrested the three men immediately after they returned back from Turkey. They also executed two men, including an ex-fighter in an Islamic battalion who declared his repentance, in ISIL-held areas in the countryside of al-Hasakah, where they shoot them in front of people, including children, after dressing them orange.

They charged them of "betraying Muslims, establishing awakening movements to fight ISIL and cooperating with the regime".
