Australia's Carbonleo to build USD1.7b 'Lifestyle Centre'

(MENAFN) Carbonleo, the Australian real estate developer, is set to further boost its backing for a USD1.7 billion mixed-use money-making project, the Montreal Gazette reported.

The new scheme, dubbed Royalmount, will help provide a number of 15,000 employment opportunities, USD800 million through sales in retail per year and USD45 million as municipal tax revenue.

"This is a lifestyle Centre that has as its primary objective the ability to bring people together," the chairman of Carbonleo and owner of all the land in question said in a statement.
