Russian PM Meets Iraqi Counterpart
(MENAFN- QNA) Russia's Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev met here on Thursday with his Iraqi counterpart Haider Al-Abadi, who is currently visiting Moscow.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and means to develop them in addition to the latest developments in Iraq an other topics on mutual interest.
Medvedev affirmed his country's support to the Iraqi government as well as readiness to develop the capacities of the Iraqi army and police.
Al-Abadi said that his country attaches great importance to the relations with Russia. Iraq looks forwards to developing cooperation in the military, aniti-terrorism economy and energy fields.
