Arab Information Ministers Session Kicks Off


(MENAFN- QNA) The 46th session of the Arab information ministers council kicked off Thursday at the headquarters of the Arab League's general secretariat.

The session will discuss 17 items related to the development of Arab media and the draft resolutions submitted in this regard by the executive bureau, primarily the Arab media strategy to confront terrorism, support of the Palestinian cause, the Arab media plan abroad to represent regional issues, and the establishment of the Arab League's radio and television network on the Internet.

Abdulrahman Nasser Al Obaidan, adviser at the Qatar Media Corporation (QMC), is leading Qatar's delegation to the session.
