Dubai: Royal Brunei airlines (RB) on Tuesday announced Cozmo Travel as its new general sales agent (GSA) for the UAE and its top official said the new partnership will provide the necessary drive to help RB boost sales.
The national carrier of the Brunei also opened its refurbished office in Dubai on Tuesday. The airline which first flew to Dubai International airport in August 1988 is celebrating 40 years of flying this year and considered a long established player in this market with over 26 years of service to customers in UAE.
“The aviation market is very competitive specially in the UAE. So Cozmo Travel will expand our customer reach and bring more customers for us” Royal Brunei chief commercial and planning officer Karam Chand told Khaleej Times after a news conference.
“We will work closely with Cozmo’s team &hellip to make RB the preferred choice to the destinations we offer from Dubai International airport” he observed.
Citing examples of Emirates airline Etihad Qatar Airways Chand said they are all growing rapidly. “RB tries to give the best consistent service delivery to our customers” he added.RB operates two daily flights from Dubai to London and home town Brunei. “We used the latest aircraft which is 787 Dreamliner” he informed.
RB provides scheduled services across Asia Australia Jeddah and London. In addition the airline has codeshare agreements allowing passengers to co-ordinate flights for seamless travel to a very wide choice of destinations.
Under the new agreement Cozmo will operate an exclusive RB retail outlet in Dubai together with sale points across each of the other emirates.
