Ajman CP briefed on NCEMA programmes


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, has been briefed on the programmes and plans aimed at activating the system of emergency management, crisis and disaster and raise the community awareness about the concept of risk and emergency situations as well as ways to address them through coordination with competent authorities.

Welcoming the NCEMA's delegation led by Dr. Jamal Mohammed Al Hosni, Director General of the authority, in the presence of Brigadier Sheikh Sultan Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Chief of Ajman Police and head of emergency management and local crises department team at the Emiri Court, the Crown Prince of Ajman called for putting in place the necessary plans aimed at addressing crises and threats as soon as possible to minimise their effects and risks.

Sheikh Ammar said the authority plays a vital role to bolster security, and protect lives and properties.

During the meeting, they discussed sustainable and continuous plans to combat threats and crises.

A number of officials attended the meeting.
